Another Podcast hosted by me on the Artizan Music Website with a special guest mix by Christoffer Falk. I rean this whole mix through an SSL console, believe it or not. Ridiculous, right? The other interesting bit about this is that there’s a global tempo stretch on the master that ramps up from 120bpm to 125bpm by the end of my mix, so there is a slight, subtle and constant rising sensation.

Paco Bongo iPhone Application

The iPhone application Peter, Sven and I have been working on is finally live and in the App Store.
It’s the story of a lovable Gecko whose pickles go missing and he has to venture into the wild rainforest to find them.
A great children’s touch-book into which all of us put a lot of effort. I would love for you to download it and review it, if you have an iPhone.

Uptownboogiedown at the Brick House Feb 20th

Blasty Blast off into 2010 with the first Uptownboogiedown of the year. We’re throwing our cocktail sausages into the air and flapping them about on February 20th at the Brick House on Brick Lane. It’s going to be dope, so get in touch with me for some guest-list action. There’s even an option to hook up some beds for 10 people with waitress service. Or beds with service by 10 waitresses? Not sure which one, but either way, it sounds damn good. Tables are also an option. Get in touch.

Jafar, Maxime Cescau, Deporto, Toby Phickle and Pej will be providing the evenings delights.

Demarkus and I got together shortly after he relocated to London and goofed off in my studio in Dalston.
We never really thought about releasing the tracks we cooked up, but when I played them to Jafar, who co-runs Artizan Music with me, he loved them. Thus the ‘Tussy Pickler’ EP was born. Released on Artizan as ARTMD009, it was extremely well received and still continues to surprise even Demarkus and I. You should also check out the Remix of Rogiers ft. Bilal that Demarkus and I did.

This DJ Mix was recorded over the weekend where temperatures in London reached over 33 degrees Celsius. Never in the history of Great Britain has there been a higher consumption of Transylvanian Palinka in one weekend. Most of it, in my garden.
